We imagined transforming denim to a 'Couture' piece.  In this case, a shacket.  The process started with imagining and adding a layer of very strong all over 'ZARI' embroidery on the fabric surface.  Our design team then added all over 'FOIL' on top of the embroidery.  These added layering stiffened our material to our dismay. But not to our focus. We shifted our direction mid-way to turn this piece from a shirt to an overshirt or 'SHACKET'.  To cause a 'VINTAGE' appeal, we distress washed the piece to create our final look.  So many steps behind what you see.
